Rush Limbaugh App Reviews

This app is hard to navigate through. The app is free, but to listen to Rush you have to pay a monthly fee of seven dollars. If you want to sign up for this fee so you can listen, you have to find the sign up area, its very hard to find.

My local radio station discontinued Rushs show. I was happy to find the app. However, it asks me for my ID and password. I never was offered a place to set that up. I tried using my Apple ID to no avail. To my disappointment, I had to uninstall and can no longer listen to Rush. Any ideas?

I love Rush, and historically havent had very many issues with this app, but over the past couple days, it started crashing more and more frequently. The content itself is too excellent for a substandard app.

Many others have already said it well about the deficiencies of this app! ... How can Rush not care enough about his avid listeners with a product as awful as this?

The app looks nice, but every time I try to listen to something, it asks me to sign in to my account. Well, I dont have an account. So then I look for a way to create one. And well, there isnt a way to do that -- at least none that I can find. Therefore, as of now, I cant even use this app.

Locks up frequently with the latest IOS update.

It used to work fine but since IOS 9 it is locking up and wont let you hear the next hour unless you close app and reopen. Please fix!

Now I have to restart the ap any time I want to pause and restart the podcast.

I love the app! I get to listen while Im at work and pause as I need to. Sometimes Ill skip the live version just to have the option to pause as I go. I wish The EIB would load each hour after it airs and not in total 30+ minutes after. I would also change the language to describe which audio section is which.

After iOS 9.1 update this freezes every time it is paused and freezes between each hour. Until its fixed, Ill be spending my time elsewhere.

Love Rush and his show but this app is an embarrassment. After pausing it freezes (sooner or later) on iOS9, it doesnt rotate and there is no iPAD version. Time to fire the amateur whos maintaining this and hand it over to a professional to update it.

Why why why?

I love the app and being able to listen to the audio. Ive been having problems the past several days and am wondering if its due to the latest update. I can start an audio but I cant pause or stop it anymore. I also cant go to the next episode, once Ive finished with one, anymore. The only way I can get these things to work is if I completely exit the program and start over. Would you please fix? Thanks!

Excellent App for the iPhone but not a quality iPad App. It is the old "1X / 2X" option for the iPad (ao v1.0 atuff). Not what I would expect from the expensive Rush 24/7 subscription. Somwhat a contridiction of the Rush high tech oration and rescent announcement of a technology blog.

Very difficult to read the transcripts. Please make font larger. Definitely overdue for an iPad app.

The positive: the sound is clear, the app looks good. The negative: If you pause the audio, use another app, and then try to go back to this one, it wont play. Youll have to click on another segment and then click back, but youll lose your place. The show is inconveniently split into three parts. Its easy to accidentally press another show segment while listening. The other segment will play and you will lose your place in the segment you had been listening to. Theres no download capability, so if youre away from an Internet connection or good cell reception, like in your car, you cant listen to the show. Mark Levin makes his show available on a downloadable podcast for free. You have to pay for Rushs audio and all you get is an audio stream.

No option to listen faster than 1x. Even the most basic podcast apps nowadays allow faster listening. Limbaugh claims to be into tech, but this is as low-tech and archaic as an app can be.

A shame that Rush will never see this review but to you who are thinking of using it, DON’T. There are lots of ways to listen to paid podcasts (Downcast is the best) so I don’t understand why the developers, billers of Rush’s podcasts have convinced Rush that this inept attempt a providing Rush on Demand is the only way to go. If you want to use Rush on Demand, just use Hazel on your Mac to automatically copy the .mp3 podcast files into a Dropbox directory, then on your iPhone you can just import the .mp3 into a legitimate podcast app like Downcast from your Dropbox folders.

Rush, please fix your wonderful app! For the past six weeks or so, the app crashes frequently and wont continue playing one hour to the next. Great app when its working properly, but very frustrating at the moment.

I have this app for one reason: to listen live, or to catch up if I miss a show. But, this is still the worst audio streaming app ever. Any interruption the app has to be restarted. And, they still cant be bothered to let you know what day of the week it is youre trying to find.
