I paid for an app that, surprise, I have to pay for again to actually use. I dont mind in app purchases to remove adds from, or to achieve higher function from, but I cannot use this app to evel listen to the daily free radio files??? really???. And to read the other reviews, I seem to be buying the most buggy app on the planet anyway...Well I can make my own podcasts I guess, so back to that...A pity really, I might have purchased other features...

This app has so many issues. Its still not optimized for larger screens 2 years later. It drops streaming connection at the slightest blip in data connection and on wifi-to-LTE transfer. And then half the time it refuses to reconnect without being force quite. But mainly, its just way to complicated. It should be open app, tap one big central button to listen live if shows live, or listen to todays show if not. Sure, leave the other stuff in, but make that central and 1 tap. Leaves a lot to be desired. Also, guys, please give us personalized feed that actually works outside of iTunes on the desktop for the podcast.

Still the very worst app of its kind anywhere, Made it normally worse by the fact that Im actually paying for this. Cant seem to stay connected, totally baffled by the slightest hiccup in signal, cant remember where you left off, very slow to load and get to the live streaming, still doesnt bother to label days of the week. Horrible, disastrous app; I was expecting so much more from such a technology fanboy. Instead, we get a kludgy, slow, completely unreliable mess. Oh, and BTW – the parodies during the live broadcast are now gone. We are getting Muzak instead.

Have been using this app for years - and find it the best way to listen to Rush live and on playback (except when I want to view the Video Ditto Cam feed /playback - which requires viewing view the website). Yes - every great once in a while - I come accross and issue; but that mostly seems related to cell phone connectivity and not the app.

Im shocked that someone as tech savvy and Apple-knowledgeable as Rush would tolerate such a glitchy piece of junk. If you go out of the app and come back in, it freezes. If you try to use other apps, some of them work, some dont. Shut down my iPad completely this evening, which was the last straw. I use on an iPad Air, and an iPhone 5, both of which I keep updated. Similar problems on both, though the iPad is by far the worst.

Would you think an audio app from a self-described tech junkie would work nearly flawlessly? Particularly one for which the Rush 24/7 service costs a pretty penny? Uh, no. Sorry. Im beyond counting the crashes, downtime, and moments of hair pulling frustration with this thing. Today I can hear neither the live broadcast nor any podcasts on my iPhone 6 Plus. This after deleting and reinstalling the app twice. Perhaps I might try bopping on over to Pandora or iHeart and listening to an instantaneous and flawless stream of comforting music. Truly shameful.

I have been a Rush 24-7 subscriber for two years. I just renewed for two more years last week. I use this app to listen to the show - EVERY DAY - while commuting. I just upgraded to iOS 10.1.1 yesterday, now this morning the app wont accept my login credentials! Wasted 15 minutes trying to get in. I restarted my phone and even changed my password hoping it would help. Nada! I ended up having to use the Web site which is NOT SAFE or convenient to use while driving! Really upset about this. Hope you fix it soon!!!

I use the app daily. I enjoy the days audio recordings on the way home from work, and Ill check the ditto cam occasionally on my lunch hour. Works great. Strongly recommend.

My subscription has expired. I won’t renew it until it can be done as an in-app purchase. The online subscription process is unacceptable in my view.

Its the reason Al Gore invented the internet. Love the content, and the app is functional, so I give it an A.

Amateurish UI. Rudimentary app that I use only when there is no other option for listening or downloading podcast. Lacks necessary controls for podcast listening. Play and pause - thats it.

Prefer to see the screen in landscape or at least rotate the screen on the iPad. Also: Rush speaks remarkedly well and even most of his call ins and the rare guest or guest host are very clear and precise. As a result of my long hours of study I routinely listen to the show in the podcast app at 1&1/2 speed. I would like to see this option in the Rush app.

Love the App , always comes in handy when I travel to different markets and find out what station Rush is on. But update this app !! Keep improving it ! Its also on the slow side. Thanks !

With this app I either need to be on wi-fi or have a cell connection (ie. uses data). Why cant we download shows as podcasts to listen to later? Id love to be able to download shows on wi-fi to listen to while Im driving or working in the yard, but instead if I want to listen on the go I have to have a good connection and use my data. Also, the player needs buttons to skip ahead or back 15 sec like the iPhones native podcast player has.

Frustrated that I need a wifi signal for this app! Wish I could download content to use offline. Rush, for a guy that loves technology, this thing is a Model T! PLEASE UPDATE!!

First, program content is 5-stars ! Thank you. Overall, Im relatively happy with the UI (keeps it simple and doesnt get too fancy), but there are 2 really annoying issues. The biggest is the media playback interface under Show Audio. Please change it so it uses the iOS standardized (at least I think it standardized) media playback interface that provides the "adjustable scrubbing rate" capability. My goodness, the Dittocam playback interface uses it, why not the show audio section too ? A nice plus also would be having a 10 or 15 second playback button (for "what did he just say?" situations). The 2nd most annoying problem is, if I pause playback for several hours or more (go be a day or 2 more), when I finally go back to resume playback... most of the time the app resets something and I have to start again at the main menu and when I go back into show audio, the player no longer remembers where I left off. Another annoying thing is, not being able to download the material to my device (a minor annoyance compared to the 1st 2 issues above though). Thanks for reading and consideration.

Its hard to believe Rush touts himself as a techie but puts his name on this disaster of an app. If you minimize it for a while you will later need to kill the app and restart it only to lose your place. No possibility of download for offline listening. Finally the app looks like it was designed for the iPhone 3. They need a brand new app. Model it after Overcast, a great podcast app. I love Rush but hate this app!!!
