Crashes constantly.
Just updated my iPhone. Why does this app now have ads at the bottom? Very disturbing especially since I pay for Rush 24x7!!!!
Rush, your an avid iPhone user .. Have you downloaded the app? Low Audio ... App has to be restarted every time I get a notification... You need a new team working on this
2/10/16. App is clunky. Has problems with audio locking up if multitasking (doing anything other than using the app). It has adds... Bit odd since I pay to access the audio. The description of the audio content gets cut off. Cant buffer (download) the audio in to the app... Meaning no data or connection no show audio. Kinda bummed when traveling through the back 40... Funniest part of all this is Rush considers himself a tech kinda guy. Cant specifically vouch for him on that, but overall this app leaves a lot to be desired. If Rush really is as much of an electronic geek as he says he is... Then he wouldnt tolerate this app. My guess... He doesnt use the app personally and his handlers tell him its all sugar plums and unicorns over at the App Store! All that said, I did give it 2 stars because for the most part I can access the audio... And I primarily downloaded the app for that specific purpose.
I signed back up for a subscription to hear Rush after not having one for a few years, given the current issues I was excited to be able to listen again to Rush on my timeline. Such a disappointment to load this app and not be able to play the first session past the bumper music without things freezing up. Had to close and re-open the app, but still experiencing buffering while on high speed wifi at home. As other have said, this app is well below the standards of EIB, even below the level of a common app where problems may be tolerated, Come on guys, get this fixed.
When playing back the show audio, the screen locks up. In order to play the next hour you have to close out the program and start all over. Cmon Rush. When is this finally going to be fixed. This has been going on for several months now. We pay good money for 24/7 and expect this app to work. You always talk about hidden options on iOS. The least you could do is fix this frustrating annoyance for your paying customers.
The audio part of this app is so bad. You cant jump forward or backward, and it freezes if I leave the app and return. Is this a Rush approved app outlet for 24/7? The Safari player is slightly better. At least you can navigate a little better. Update: 3/14/16 - all of the above remains true. Also, when you tap the "Account" button, enter you password, then you notice theres no where to go. The only options are the buttons "Logout?" or "Forgot Password?" Hilarious if not so frustrating.
I rated an earlier version as 1 star. Had hopes this update would work better. No, it doesnt. Rush, I love your show, but you can do better than these developers. I only use this app when Stitcher is missing a show, which hardly ever happens. Stitcher knows what the word "cache" means! It downloads the entire episode in the first few seconds, and I can leave my home without worrying about the show stopping. Stitcher also automatically starts the next episode when one finishes. Your app is horrible! The developers wrote the app in such a way that any interruption in Internet access halts playback and I have to kill and restart the app! It cant even handle a switch from LTE to Wifi! The only things can think of that would explain this poor coding is either the developers are stupid, or are liberals who laugh about how much they soaked you for the app. Please fire these hacks.
Rush usually means quality. Not this time. This fetid app doesnt work well will modern iOS. The app must be rebooted to play each segment of the show audio. No way to string all three audio segments of a show together. Terrible user interface. Rush needs to clean house with the people that produced this.
I think its actually funny that Rush Limbaugh who claims to have such technical prowess has such a horrible glitchy app
On my iPad: The app plays ONE segment, then is locked up. Must stop app, rerun it, then select next segment. On my iPhone 5s: Do NOT have to shutdown app to start playing another segment. iPhone app needs an iPad version? Very annoying. Fix the app so the screen remains active during and after any selections are made on the iPad. Revised March 29, 2016
I currently use Stitcher to listen to Rush Limbaughs program, which I do daily. This has been fairly seamless throughout the five years Ive been using Stitcher but obviously I wish to use Rush Limbaugh own app. But, even with Stitcher because the program is broken up into three segments, why I dont know, I still have problems. The Mark Levin show, Glenn back, and many others all have one file for the entire show I wish the people at rush Limbaugh we consider doing the same.
I love being able to listen to commercial free Rush at my convenience; however, the app freezes frequently and must be restarted. If Im walking from the house to the car or vice versa the audio will freeze as we go from wi-fi to cell service. Please fix! Thanks for the tip on Stitcher Ive made the switch - I miss having Rushs icon tho
It says it is free, however it requires to logon to an account that you have to pay for. Why? I listen to Rush on my radio and it is free. Disappointed.
It needs some work. I can make it work, but I have to restart it when I switch from my Bluetooth to speakers. We are way past this in tech. Fix ASAP. Your fans deserve better. PS. I love Rush.
This app is in dire need of a "fix". Every time I pause an episode, the app freezes and the only correction is to close, reboot the app and start over. Rush, this is not up to your standards. Also, the ads in each episode are intrusive and annoying - Im paying for the podcast,NOT the ads. You cant download the podcasts - only available via wifi or data and Im about ready to cancel and record the program from radio - why pay for this?
